maybe I am a politician. lol.
I use this app to 1. learn about the other side, and get a deeper understanding about both my points and their side. 2. I test my arguments with this app, and see what works and what doesn't, so I can win debates in real life.

this app helps me study too. I debate about the things I'm going to have a test on, then I do better on the test.

You might be edgy but that does seem like an almost fair assumption. Debating does feel good, because while trying to convince someone of your point of view is frustrating, its refreshing meeting people that don't agree with you for valid reasons rather than someone who agrees for bullshit reasons. Though I can say trying to be persuasive and blowing smoke feels good, because there is a feeling of power and weight behind the words we say, and therefore importance to the argument and us. I can't say that debating on this app has done me any good, since I haven't had any radical realizations, and though I notice arguments get better from prolonged debates, there is no purpose in work, college, or among friends. The most I can say is hearing a current event here before seeing it on the news, and that's before checking emails or Facebook. So is what we do unimportant? Probably so, but just like playing it is like a sandbox for the wannabe sculptors, its just fun and a bit of practice for something done a different way. Since I tend to fall on the line for this argument, it being useless but in a way that doesn't lack purpose for trying as suggested, its something that I say could go without saying, or that saying it is pointless. We know what we want, and if wasting time gets us it, so be it. On the other hand, being here does nothing and the focus should be on real life. I am relatively new here, and have not been too vocal, so for me it should stay that way, preferably I shouldn't even be here and focus on important things. Unfortunately... here I am. Wish me luck out there.
