nothing brings people together like a common competitor. considering the continent's lag behind every other place on earth, they probably have to unite to accomplish something.
Yeah i can't be certain what he meant. A union like that also requires a certain level of trust and alot of being willing to work together. I'm not sure alot of african countries trust each other all that much. I kind of doubt it would work.
that sounds like a bit of assuming, but if so, sure. im all for unity.
it sounds like he is advocating for an African version of the European Union. It works pretty well for them.
