Since the statement states that it is false, it's is now a fact that the statement is false. Thus it is true that the statement must be false. Unless there was another statement proving that this statement is not in fact false, then there is no other proof that the statement is true. Again, making it true that it is false.

Whether the statement is is true or false depends on the way people see it. It could be true as long as there is a good reason to support it. I think that’s an ambiguous sentence which has more than one perception. When we identify it based on the structure of the sentence, it is true as it has subject and a predicate. On the other hand, when we identify it based on its meaning, it’s based on the person who assumes it.
