As a white person I think the majority of white people do not care about racism as much as others.
While there is racism against every race, whites are typically not judged on sight based on their appearance. African Americans continue to be judged based on their color. Some people assume all black people are bad because of the level of crime committed by blacks in cities etc. Basically, there are "good and bad" people regardless of their race, religion or any other distinguishing characteristic. We are all human beings made of the same parts - it is our actions which should measure our worth.
Just because whites are a majority should not mean that we should not get any privileges. Minorities get way too many privileges, and they are taking away from the common white man. Native Americans get paid so much that they often don't need a job. Blacks and Latinos get college scholarships that whites can't qualify for just because of their race. All of these come out of the tax payers' pockets. White people pay taxes. Everyone says racism towards Blacks/ Native Americans/ Mexicans is awful, but what about racism towards the whites?
