Alright, but let's be realistic. Have you ever heard of the attractiveness bias? Or the baby-faced bias? Google them. The basic concept is pretty people don't have nearly as much trouble getting work as not so attractive people. Imagine you're a human resources manager in charge of acquiring new staff. If you have two equally qualified candidates and one of them is an average or not-so-average looking dude and the other is a gorgeous young woman, you're going to hire that gorgeous young woman. Is it fair? No. But does it happen all the time? Yes.
Let's imagine that you have a trophy wife and you make $1,000,000 then your trophy wife will be required to hire a trophy lover for $100,000 which you will pay of course because trophy wifes don't have any income.
A trophy lover will be somebody young attractive and unemployed. This will reduce the number of beautiful unemployed people.
