having the biggest is a measure of size, not growth. if someone builts a big company from nothing, then you come in and make it go from 800 bil to 810 bil. your company is bigger, but it didnt grow.
what are you measuring as the size of the economy? jobs? stocks? gdp?
that is not true at all. the economic growth of the first three years of Trump's presidency the Economy was at its best sense the past 50 years. it was boosted. what slowed it down was the regulation Obama implemented. some of you may say. "Obama first three years had a boost." yet before Obama was president the economy was boosting sense 2003.
in general, the economy does better under democratic presidents, and democratic policies
in what way was trump better?
Trump was way better than obama in the economy
if i grow a business from nothing and grow it to $100mil. and then you inherit it and grow it from $100mil to $101mil...
yes, you oversaw it at its peak, but your contribution was negligible and you do not get to claim credit for a successful business.
all economic metrics have been improving under obama, and although they continued to improve under trump, the improvement was slower and starting to turn downward, even before the corona happened.
