that really just proved my point if you had read them.
there was absolutely no proof trump donated that truck. one person said it was from him. there are other church officials who say it wasn't from him.
and that other article just repeatedly what I said. he hasn't donated any money at the moment. and the money he might donate is likely going to a fund run by a hate monger.
oh and the church he may or may not give money to is run by Tony Perkins who runs a hate group. so even when trump gives to charity he spreads hate.
there is no evidence he has donated anything at all as far as I can tell. some of Trump's people have claimed he donated a truck load of supplies. they had no idea what it might have been, where they came from, how it was organized. all they said was trump did it with no idea at all if it was true.
his people also claim that he will donate money. he has donated nothing at this point. and even if it is true that he will, he won't be donating to relief efforts. the pledge was to donate to a church in the effected area. maybe they will use those funds for flood relief, maybe they will use it for a billboard about Jesus. a church has no accountability in how it spends donations.
It is very easy to find if you just type it in. I am on 2g internet, so it would take forever to load.
please provide evidence he did any of that. all I've seen is a photo shoot where he handed people playdough, despite the governor asking people not to go into those areas and disrupt relief efforts with photo ops.
Historybuff, Trump donated a truckload of supplies and donated a check for 100,000k. He also discussed many things with many people, and helped passed out these supplies with the local community.
Trump can't do anything good ever according to liberals and the liberal media. you can turn anything into a negative.
Obama made that Tuesday announcement after he saw Trump already there.
why can't I say Bush didn't want to interpret first responders and that's why he went to DC first?
if you has bothered to check you would see that in consultation with the state department they have already planned his visit for Tuesday because they didn't want to interrupt first responders efforts, which a presidential motorcade certainly would.
trump on the other hand did interrupt efforts to help for a photo opp. as far as I know he did no work to help, he did not discuss the relief effort with any of the officials. and he did not make any kind of donation. so in short he did absolutely no good and just got in the way for a photo opp.
He is on vacation now
because bush stayed on vacation during the crisis, a vacation he had already been on for a month. obama wasn't on vacation during this crisis as far as I know.
going doesn't help, maybe. however one could make the argument that it gives support to those people and let's them know you care and are doing things to help.
the problem I have is Obama said bush should have gone earlier. Obama then hasn't gone yet, and is doing the EXACT same thing he strongly trashed Bush for doing. that's what i want to discuss, what's the difference between bush doing it and Obama doing it?
the problem with Bush's response to the Katrina disaster wasn't that he didn't go on a tour. it was that he didn't immediately return from his month long vacation to deal with it.
he spent the first 2 days of the crisis on vacation and not doing anything to help. alot of people did criticize him for not going and touring the area, but my opinion is the same for those criticisms as of yours. going and having a look at the place doesn't help. it was his completely innept non response to a disaster that was the problem.
I've never understood people's insistence that leaders go and tour disaster sites. it doesn't accomplish anything constructive. if anything it pulls people away from doing their jobs to participate in a photo opp. I seriously doubt trump did any good for the people of this Louisiana by going on a tour. why would we care if Obama went on one?
in 2008 President Obama hit President Bush for flying to DC before the Hurricane Katrina area, and accused him of a delayed response. Then when the worst natraul diaster in years hits, President Obama doesn't even make plans to visit the area until he sees Trump there. Obama will arive Tuesday.
