We shouldn't have more kids just so they have someone to play with, creating life is a big responsibility. While siblings can be entertaining, an only child has the advantage of more resources available from the parent - such as money for college and their time/attention.
It is true. They can complement their life together. When you have only one child, he/she will feel lonely. When you have more than one child, the kids can entertain each other and they are not alone with the presence of their sibling. In short, it is true that having two kids are better than one.
