I understand what you're saying, but there's a problem with waiting; you don't know when to stop waiting and start doing. The possibilities of technology are nearly limitless, the amount of money that could be generated by solar power would easily pay to update the technology.
Technology such as solar panels get outdated really quickly. It is like buying an a new phone and wanting it to the best for atleast a year, it just can't happen. We should wait. We should use all the best possible resources to our advantage.
We (the US and any willing-to-help country) could easily power the world on solar without taking up much space. The problems come with efficiency of gathering and moving the energy. Also the upkeep of the solar panels.
Solar power has been making leaps and bounds lately and it's exciting, but do you think we should wait for even better solar technologies?
