If you look into a black hole, you see nothing because the gravity is strong enough to pull in light, meaning nothing is shining back except hard radiation. Get too close a look at that and the future is cancer.
This actually may be possible because it is said that if you look in a black hole just right that you can past, present and future. That is why I think it may be done
Predicting the future is possible, depending on the distance and variables involved, but actually seeing it means that the future is set in stone and visible. I don't believe that the future is rigid, therefore I don't believe it is possible to see it.
