i was doing much researches at these topics, believe me, you don't have a life to waste!
OK I can accept that logic
it's not a lie if it's true. you do want to achieve something? is that a lie?
but by making one dont u essentially tell urself a lie?
yes.and to love all
having meaning doesn't mean striving for meaning. and science doesn't strive to make life better for man. it just strives for answers.
you make one.
so your purpose in this life is to bring people to christ?
There is no meaning, you should make your own meaning.
science strives to make life for man better. that is there meaning.to make life better for future generations.
if life has no meaning then how can there be a purpose? I don't see there being one but I could be wrong.
Well depends on the religion. for Christians the life we have now is to help people know God on a personal level. then after Revelations we will be like Adam and Eve and be with God for eternity. at this point life won't need meaning as much since there will be no end.
science does not strive for meaning.
and if you have no purpose you can create one.
what is the meaning of life in a religious view?
if there's no meaning then everything we do has no purpose. they have the right to believe that but that would kind of suck and go agaisnt science and religion because both strive for meaning.
pick your own meaning can be seen as no meaning if one doesn't choose one.
did somone think there is no meaning to life? they put disagree
sounds like a plan
a mix of almost all the things mentioning are in my self created purpose. the more I achieve the better.
OK that's fine. but what multiple ones do u aspire for?
it's like a sandbox or an mmo. pick your path. good or bad. amass wealth or improve the world. fight a social cause or cure a disease, or live a quiet family life. or multiple. quiet family life while curing cancer, bettering the world and maybe amass some wealth doing that.
or you can live for the experience. drugs n rock n roll. skydive, scuba dive, military. whatever the hell you want
I don't restrict myself to just 1 purpose.
how about u?
whatever you want it to be
I put this down mainly for people who aren't religious so we can see what they think
