I know how the world works and that bad deeds effect this life. Seems to me that imagination is what we perceive on this planet. in other words the many religions for example. if it's a thing then it's a religion. I believe this to be true. take hell as another example. It's the most outrageous thing but people like it. no real proof other than mental manifestations empowered to be even visible perhaps. but who's to say that all imaginings can't be true. I want Dragon ball z to be my religion. someday if popularized goku will manifest somewhere on earth if not just visibly then physically. I hold my science behind all of these statements.
yes I hear a similar explanation from Jewish rabbis. the afterlife is like a plot of land. there is no seperate heaven or hell. everytime u sin it's like dropping feces on your afterlife. meanwhile good deeds build a pleasant home.
I much more respect religions who state your afterlife depends on your deeds and not whether or not you accept their specific god... like christianity, the worst modern offender.
Everyone creates their own paradise, or their own hell. The accumulation of good or evil deeds in this life determines the nature of the soul's destiny in the afterlife.
