Birth control is free at health departments. There should be better access to those in rural areas. Women should be more responsible regarding the use of birth control, as well as men wearing condoms. I don't think our population will drastically grow, as there are always people passing away too.
Overpopulation is a myth. The Earth could easily support 20 billion people or more. The problem is resource management, corruption and greed. Also, global population is likely to start declining soon. But, you know, birth control is still good.
