there won't be an attack. America is Japan's guarantor. if China attacked Japan they would be at war with America. they are going to bulky people. but they can't actually attack Japan.
Might not ease tensions but will most likely lower the chance of an attack...
this debate isn't about that. it is about if Japan had nuclear weapon would it ease tensions. the answer is no. it likely would make no difference, but if it did it would be for the worse.
China will take over the south China sea, Taiwan, Japan and then bam 30 years have gone by the us had had several more democrat presidents, and China is the biggest most powerful country and turns to america.
Except that nuclear weapons make a world war impossible. also Americans spend WAY more on weapons development than anyone and almost everyone else. China cannot take on America, let alone NATO. the point when they could is at least 30 years away.
Taiwan will most likely be China's first target...
China isn't looking to conquer Japan yet.
China will be a huge part in WWIII. After the south China sea, who knows what their after next.
except the dispute between them isn't about total destruction or conquest. so nuclear weapons wouldn't get used. the conflict is about control of water and islands. China isn't looking to conquer Japan. besides Japan's independence is guaranteed by the USA which does have nuclear weapons so the point is entirely moot.
Both would be nuclear equipped a mutually insured destruction if a war breaks out...
why would it?
