yes I would voluntarily do it because if you really look at it from her perspective what is the pain of one for 1 billion you might be special but this is one to 1 billion this is like when Jesus came he came to save all of us not 1 billion but a whole about 8 billion because humans were getting less and less on the time he was here about maybe two thousand years ago I don't know for sure but I know for a fact that 1 to 1 billion I would definitely take the pain if it saving multiple people from the pain

Jesus went to hell voluntarily for 3 days so others wouldn't have to for eternity. This is seen as an amazing sacrifice for some reason but his reward is to spend eternity in heaven being worshipped by everyone. He'd have known that would be his reward as well.
I don't understand how this is a significant act. The net benefit is infinitely positive
