I have chosen disagree, for perhaps uncommon reasons...
secular argument for a kind of reincarnation here, I'll try to keep it brief.
what is it you are defining as you?
you as in the atoms comprising your body, have only been around for the last five or so years (a process known as atomic turnover recycles almost all atoms in the human body on s regular basis)
you as in the atoms themselves, have been around for as long as 14 billion years.
we are not so much born as recycled from previous living entities. Those previous life forms were once conscious and are no longer, their atoms now residing in your body and giving rise to your consciousness. Is it fair to say have died? Is it fair to say you yourself will die in this sense?
just an idea I had in the shower, thanks for reading
YOU don't only live once. Your body is the only thing that lives once. The soul that occupies your body lives on forever. And your soul is you. Not your body.
