Maybe irrelevant to the topic?
maybe parents should watch their children. should we ban cars cause stupid kids can run into the street?
What's wrong with switching everything you just said into a closed environment? Zoos don't have to display animals for profit.
they serve alot of functions for research, and conservation. and they can do this because the public pays for their expenses. precautions need to be taken and they are taken. whether or not stronger precautions are necessary I is one thing. I don't see any merit to the idea that zoos are obsolete.
What is there necessity? Other then displaying animals for money? Most animals do worse in captivity. I understand breeding endangered animals, but proper precautions have to be implemented.
In what way?
